This policy explains what personal information Focus-Productivity-App ([Your company name], "we") collects, why, and your rights under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, time zone, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password if you use one.
• What you put into the app: your commitments, weekly schedule and logged focus sessions.
• Billing status: whether you're subscribed and until when. Card details are handled by Paystack — we never see or store them.
• Basic technical data needed to keep the service secure, such as your IP address when you sign in.

Why we use it

• To provide the service you signed up for, and to sign you in.
• To send essential emails (confirming your address, sign-in links, password resets).
• To process your subscription.
• To protect the service from abuse.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

• Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database) — data may be stored outside South Africa, with appropriate safeguards.
• Resend (sending emails), Paystack (payments) and Google (if you choose Google sign-in).

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is deleted from our database straight away; backups expire within a short period.

Your rights

• See your data: use Account → Download my data.
• Correct it: edit it in the app, or contact us.
• Delete it: use Account → Delete my account.
